CAMERON ARMSTRONG

Born in Cairns and raised on the Atherton Tablelands, I would describe myself as a country kid at heart with a love for nature, music, and outdoor activities.

I’m a social and outgoing person who enjoys a good laugh and have always found it enjoyable and interesting to meet new people and listen to their stories. In 2004 I moved from Mount Isa to Gympie and have not looked back. I feel lucky to live in such a tight nit community of genuine individuals, with access to some spectacular locations like Fraser Island so close by.

I have had various roles in leadership over several different industries, working with a wide variety of people from all walks of life in different locations throughout Australia.

Prior to the NDIS, in 2017 I worked with the “Partners in Recovery Program”, throughout Gympie and the surrounding regions.

With the roll out of the NDIS in our region, my wife Barbara and I opened Adapt Support.

I am a strong believer in the NDIS program and have seen first-hand the outcomes that are possible with the right team behind you.

Growing from a team of two (Barbara and myself) in 2019, to now more than 70 staff, we have built a diverse team of compassionate and supportive individuals, ready to assist you with your daily needs.
